Visiting a new church can be an unsettling experience.  Whether you’re coming back to church or you’re trying it out for the first time, we know this is a big step for you.  Our desire in all that we do is to bring glory to God.  We hope you join us this Sunday and more importantly, that you'll choose to make this your home church.  You'll learn we're not perfect; but fortunately, we've been saved by the one who is, and God desires to save the world.

The following is a survival guide to visiting Leawood Presbyterian Church:

1) On Sunday mornings, we gather together as a community for worship and fellowship. We meet at 10:30 and have a worship celebration for all ages.  Our worship service lasts about one hour.  Come a few minutes early for a cup of coffee and to make sure you get a good seat.

2) When you enter the building, you will be greeted by people who are waiting to extend a warm welcome and show you the ins-and-outs of Leawood Pres!

3) Childcare is available, and we offer age appropriate worship and teaching for children up through 6th grade.  We encourage families to worship together.  We place a high emphasis on growing as a body and the young and old being able to learn from, and mentor each other.

4) The atmosphere is casual. People dress comfortably. We use music, video, and other creative elements to communicate truth in a relevant way.

5) There are lots of great churches in Kansas City, and we hope this Sunday you'll give ours a try!
