Each group will meet at the church on Wednesday evenings, starting September 16, at 6pm for dinner and then split out to study and engage. Being in Mission: God’s Vision is Bigger Than Me

Facilitated by Drs. Daryl and Teri McCarthy, these excellent educators share their wisdom, personal experiences, and knowledge in the area of mission. We'll cover the following topics throughout the course of this group:

iMarriage

This DVD driven pod group which will focus on marriage and relationships. Standing at the altar we all had a picture of what our marriage would look like. The problem is this picture of marriage results in expectations that we unload on our spouse. The weight of these expectations will rob your marriage of love and joy. As a spouse you never feel like you measure up and you never feel like you are good enough. So what are you to do with your expectations? You can’t deny them, because most expectations started out as God-given desires. In this series, Andy Stanley, pastor at North Point Community Church in Atlanta, explains that you must learn to transform your expectations and look to God if you are to experience marriage as it was designed.

Parenting:The Early Years

This DVD driven pod group with Dr. Les and Leslie Parrott goes deeper than any technique of just getting kids to eat their broccoli and clean their room. It takes a biblical approach into the traits parents want their children to have and what traits they want their children to see modeled for them. This group will meet at the home of Michelle and Jason Reeves who live very close to the church. Each participant will need to purchase a $10 workbook for this study. This pod group will be limited to only 14 participants. You will still be able to eat at church and drop off your kids before going to the Reeve’s house for the DVD and discussion.
